RE-ENTRY PLAN - MT. OLIVE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH

Re-entry Date: 07/17/2021

Churchwide Epidemic Prevention Measures:

  1. Surgical masks/washable cloth masks must be worn at all times by those not on the rostrum. No exceptions. Signage will be placed in the front and back of the church to remind and reinforce mask wearing.
  2. Temperature checks will be in effect for all entering the church. All entrants will be required to provide their name, have their temperature checked, and answer questions about common COVID-19 symptoms. This information will be logged to enable contact tracing, should it later be deemed necessary.
  3. All members and visitors riding the Mt. Olive Bus will be required to provide their name, have their temperature checked, and answer questions about common COVID-19 symptoms. This information will be logged to enable contact tracing, should it later be deemed necessary. Because your temperature check must be completed prior to riding the bus, you will not need to have your temperature checked before entering the church.
  4. Mt. Olive leadership strongly recommends the use of hand-sanitizer before entering the building. Additionally, handwashing and/or hand-sanitizer use is highly advised and recommended after using the bathroom and touching frequently used surfaces such as door handles and faucets.
  5. Ushers will be stationed at church entrances to direct members and visitors to appropriate seating. Please follow the Ushers’ instructions. Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation.
  6.  If you are an elderly person with chronic illness(es), who has not been vaccinated, or a child who is not vaccinated, please consider the option of viewing the service on Zoom.
  7. Families are strongly encouraged to sit together.
  8. Mt. Olive leadership strongly recommends no physical touching, including hugs or handshakes.
  9. While we understand the strong impact singing and fellowshipping can have on our worship, Mt. Olive leadership strongly recommends limiting talking/singing to those instances included in the service.
